MX20G — HYDREMA WHEELED EXCAVATOR
COMPACT EXCAVATORS
The MX G-series with stage V engines are the perfect match for construction sites in the city. They are strong, compact machines with top-class breakout force, engine power and digging performance.
COMPACT AND POWERFUL
WORKS PERFECTLY IN SMALL SPACES
The MX G-series’ compact upper carriage offers a very short tail swing, down to 5´7" (17.7" inches over the wheels).
Additionally, the special excavator arm geometry means the excavator arm front slew radius is short. The short slew radius allows the excavator to work in very tight areas, for instance, close to buildings in city sites or stay within the boundaries of a single lane during road works.
The excavator's range, digging depth and strike height are amongst the best, which underscores the versatility and usability of the MX. The dipper is available in lengths of 6´7", 8´2" and 9´10".
IMMENSELY POWERFUL
The MX G-series is packed with power. The Stage V Cummins engine delivers 175 hp while the hydraulic system can provide a hydraulic flow of up to 107 gpm.
The engine provides plenty of power for even the toughest tasks, heavy lifts, or to run large attachments such as a hydraulically driven rotary mower or suction devices like the TinBin TC2.
Despite the machine's compact dimensions, it can easily lift heavy loads, such as large sewage pipes.
STRONG ENGINE
The machines are equipped with the latest Cummins Stage V engine delivering 175 hp. The exhaust gas is treated in one compact unit, consisting of two catalysts and a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
The high level of available power allows Hydrema wheeled excavators to perform demanding work functions at low revs. And by having 165 hp (121kW) available at 1500 rpm., most work can be carried out with the lowest possible fuel consumption while keeping noise levels low.
Wheeled excavators traditionally use many different work tools. Therefore the combination of high engine power and the industry's highest hydraulic output flow is a huge bonus.
STREET SMART
The MX wheeled excavator series are popular as compact city excavators because they can drive efficiently between workplaces. With a speed of up to 23 mph, the excavators can move quickly between sites, here the increased engine power and torque really come into their own when driving on roads or in hilly terrain.
The electronically regulated drive motor has an automatic retarder. Together with a new, updated power regulation and cruise control, it ensures optimal performance and comfort while driving.
BIGGEST CAB IN ITS CLASS
The ROPS-approved cab is among the biggest on the market, and it provides an excellent basis for a good working environment. The great visibility from the operator seat is further enhanced with a rearview camera and can be enhanced with a 360-degree camera system to increase safety around the machine.
By investing in extra cameras, the operator is provided with better conditions, and the overall safety around the machine is largely increased. The enhanced overall visibility is of major assistance when working in narrow places and busy areas, downtown and other crowded city areas.
Keypad panels with CAN-BUS controlled operating system means an easy and intelligent operation of the machine.
IMPROVED COMFORT, COMMUNICATION AND SAFETY
PERFECTLY SEATED
The MX series has an air-suspended driver’s seat, which can be adjusted in multiple ways and provides the operator with comfort at all times.
As an option, an air-suspended seat with ventilation and longitudinal dampening can be offered. The multi-joystick control is installed as an integrated part of both armrests.
MULTI-ADJUSTABLE ARMREST
The multi-joystick control is installed as an integrated part of the new multi-adjustable armrest, which can be adjusted both in height, length and angle, so the operators can have the optimal and most comfortable working position.
REMOVABLE FRONT WINDOW
The window layout provides a great view for the operator and allows easy communication with people around the machine.
The lower part of the window can be removed, while the upper window easily slides open.
EASY SERVICE ACCESS
Placed on the machine’s right-hand side, you find the large engine bonnet, which can be raised electronically by pushing a button.
When opened, you gain access to the engine, filters and radiator, making it easy to conduct service and maintenance while working at ground level.
AUTOMATIC BATTERY ISOLATOR
The automatic battery isolator shuts off all-electric systems when the operator turns off the ignition key and leaves the cab. At the same time, sensors in the doors re-activate the system when the operator returns.
The timer and the shut-down process is managed via the dashboard. An emergency battery isolator is placed inside the cab for safety measures.
BUILT-IN LADDER
For easy access to the top of the machine and the large diesel and AdBlue tanks, you can locate and pull out a built-in ladder underneath the left-hand side of the upper carriage.
A diesel pump is available as an option for easy ground-level filling.
HYDREMA TELEMATICS
Hydrema Telematics is included as standard on all Hydrema machines.
Information about temperatures, oil pressure, fuel consumption and current fuel level is collected from the excavator and displayed in the web portal or on the operator's smartphone. The system also gathers and displays error codes to ensure that service and repairs are done as fast and precisely as possible.
Regarding the machine's software, updates can be uploaded via the telematics can-link unit, making remote updates possible via the GSM network, which saves a physical visit from Hydrema service personnel. These functions and features ensure the machine owner has the least possible downtime and highly efficient operation.
CUSTOMIZED COLOURS
As an option, Hydrema offers to paint your new MX machine in customized colours to match your preferences, ensuring your excavator will stand out and make a unique impression.

Make your excavator even more versatile with an Engcon tiltrotator with a fully automatic quick hitch system with EC-oil. This means that the hydraulic tools can be connected or disconnected without the operator having to leave the cab.
